Day 3 - December 19th - Aquarium

We woke up at about 9:30 AM and went down to our free breakfast at the hotel. After eating breakfast we got ready and walked down the block to the metro station at about 11:00 where we rode the metro to the The Blue Planet National Aquarium in Copenhagen, which is the largest aquarium in northern Europe. The metro took about 35 minutes so we get to the aquarium at about 11:30.
Natural Environment Event:
When we get to the aquarium, we each buy a ticket for the day, which costs $24.00 or 144KK per person. When we enter, we go and see the coral reef, which is one part of the aquarium that shows many colorful fish and other animals that live in the coral. After spending about an hour looking around, we eat lunch at the cafeteria in the aquarium. After eating lunch we spend about three more hours at the aquarium. We then go on to see the ocean tank which has sharks, rays, and eels that swim around together in the biggest tank in The Blue Planet. Then we go and see the Amazonas, which has many exotic butterflies and birds flying all around us. We then get back on the metro to return to the hotel.
Ecosystem Event:
We get back to the hotel at around 4:15 PM and then go to the Ørstedsparken public park. It is a twelve minute walk to the park from our hotel. The park has many pathways to walk on and relax with nature. We walk around the park for about an hour from 4:45 PM to 5:45 PM. After walking around we decide to walk back to the hotel and eat dinner. There is a restaurant right across the street from our hotel called Restaurant Puk.
